Rashin Kheiriyeh

Rashin Kheiriyeh is an internationally recognized, award-winning illustrator/author, animator and painter who has 22 years of experience in publication and broadcasting. She has published over Ninety children’s books in countries such as United State, Canada, France, Italy, Japan, Germany, Switzerland, Emirates, Ukraine, Turkey, Spain, South Korea, China, Brazil, India and Iran.

She has received Fifty national and international awards such as 2023 Nominated for the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award for outstanding contributions to children's literature. 2022 Anne Izard Storyteller's Choice Award, 2021 Sheila Barry Best Canadian picturebook of the year, Sendak Fellowship Award, New York,2017, New Horizon Award (RAGAZZ I) from Bologna Book Fair, Italy,2009, Golden Apple Award from Bratislava Illustration Biannual (BIB), Slovakia, 2011 and Crystal Roc Award (Simorgh e Bolorin) from 28th FAJR Film Festival, Iran, 2009.Rashin is the character artist of the most popular Iranian animation series called Sugarland/ Shekarestan for national TV in Iran.
