Annette Giesecke
BIO
Dr. Giesecke is the Elias Ahuja Professor of Classics; Chair of the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures; and Center for Material Culture Studies faculty at the University of Delaware. She holds her degrees from Harvard (Ph.D., M.A.) and UCLA (B.A), and is the author of The Mythology of Plants (Getty Publications) and A Cultural History of Plants (Bloomsbury, forthcoming), among others.
